BLUEBERRY PIE MATCHA LATTE
This Blueberry Pie Matcha Latte has us head over heels, and you will be too! It's a super easy and delicious matcha recipe. The fresh blueberries really take this drink to the next level. Made with ceremonial grade matcha packed with benefits and antioxidants!
INGREDIENTS
- 150g fresh blueberries (if you only have frozen, they will also work!)
- 20g sugar (brown if you want to up the pie flavour even more!)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla paste/extract
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: 1-2 drops butter extract
- Matcha Powder
DIRECTIONS
- Pop your blueberries and sugar in a pan and bring to a medium heat.
- The blueberries should start to release some of their juices. If it feels a tad dry, add a splash of water (this will depend on the juiciness of your blueberries).
- Add vanilla, cinnamon and butter extract (if you can find this, it will take the pie-ness to the next level, trust us).
- Leave to bubble for around 5-10 minutes.
- Transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Strain if you want a smoother drink.
- To make your latte, just add around 50-100ml of your blueberry syrup to a glass with milk and ice, give it a little stir, and top with matcha!
