STRAWB-MATCHA-TINI - MATCHA MARTINI WITH STRAWBERRY COLD FOAM
Matcha lattes with strawberry cold foam have been living rent free in our minds.
So we teamed up with Smirnoff Europe to put a Matcha Mixology spin on them.
The result? A smooth and delicious matcha martini topped with a creamy strawberry cold foam! Odds are, you’re gonna seriously love this one.
INGREDIENTS:
- 125ml heavy whipping cream
- 125ml milk
- 1 1/4 tbsp freeze dried strawberry powder
- 1 JENKI Matcha shot (1 tsp of JENKI whisked in 30ml warm water)
- 50ml Smirnoff No.21
- 50ml barista coconut milk
- 20ml vanilla simple syrup (made by boiling 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, 1 tbsp vanilla bean extra)
- 1 1/4 tbsp of aquafaba
- Ice
DIRECTIONS:
- Start by prepping your cold foam. Add your cream & milk to a tall glass, sift in your strawberry powder and use a milk frother / small electric whisk to whisk the cold foam until it triples in size.
- Add ice to a cocktail shaker with your matcha shot, Smirnoff vodka, coconut milk, simple syrup, and aquafaba.
- Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a martini glass.
- Re-whisk your cold foam. Rest a dessert spoon just above your martini and slowly pour the strawb cold foam over the spoon, so that it rests atop of your matcha martini.
